Independent reporting and response
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is the independent authority responsible for preventing and responding to abuse and misconduct in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. It receives and investigates reports, maintains disciplinary records, and trains athletes, parents, coaches, volunteers, and organizations in abuse prevention.
Club safety
Background checks
USA Gymnastics and the National Center for Safety Initiatives offer a club background check option for non-member staff and volunteers. Current or prospective USA Gymnastics members should complete their check through the USA Gymnastics portal.
